Tamar Gallily joined in 2004 Yissum, the technology Transfer company of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, responsible for commercializing its intellectual property. In Her capacity as an in house patent attorney she oversees the professional aspects of Yissum’s extensive patent portfolio and provide patent counseling and advice to support business activities. Ms Gallily’s 15 years of professional IP experience prior to joining Yissum include serving as in-house patent counsel at Keryx a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the development of novel kinase modulators (NASDAQ: KERX), and as an attorney with the leading intellectual property firm of Reinhold cohn and Partners, where she focused on drafting and prosecuting patent applications in all fields of the life sciences. Ms. Gallily holds an MSc in Neurobiology from the Hebrew University (Magna Cum Laude) and a diploma in organizational counseling from the College of Management. She also serves as an examiner of new patent attorneys on behalf of the Ministry of Justice.
